16 weeks(As of 3/22/13)

How far along:
16 Weeks - Baby is the size of avacado

About this week:
I really cant sleep on my stomach anymore. The times that I have rolled onto my stomach during the night my body wakes me up and I feeling sick. What has stressed me out is how many times I have woken up on my back. One of my books told me that at 15 weeks to stop sleeping on you back but I seem to wake up that way a lot. I have been told that as you get bigger that you will get woken up if you roll to your back so I am hoping that is the case. I have started trying to sleep with a pillow in front and in back of me to prevent this. Good thing we have a California King bed because I am sure I am hogging a lot of space. My belly has gotten huge!!! Seriously it is the craziest thing to grow a human. Your body starts growing and changing in places and ways you can not imagine. My sweet sweet husband has been super gracious and I love him for the encouragement when I feel gross.

Symptoms:
Still pretty nausea some days and if it is not nausea then it is the indigestion and overall feeling of just having an off stomach. It seems that by about 9:30 at night no matter if I have had a nap or not I am ready for bed bc I feel so crummy. Mornings tend to be the best. I have noticed that I am starting to get some of my energy back. I was able to clean for a whole two hours on Saturday and that was after having worked for three at my sisters new house.

Food Aversions:
Nope. I really crave everything but just have to be careful what I eat.

Weight Gain:
Well I weigh 138lbs which is 11 pounds up from IUI day. I was hoping to not gain any weight for just a couple more weeks so I can stay on track but I guess I will need to start really monitoring my food intake. No diets of course but just eating smart healthy food. All I can say is once I reach that 140 mark I think I will be a basket case for a day.

Best moment of the week:
Each day is a huge blessing and I am thankful that we are this far along and everything seems perfect.

What I am looking forward to:
Gender reveal party and hopefully feeling Shermbaby start to kick real soon!

How about a funny...

My grandma Mary had the best stories to tell. Most of the time they were about her and something she did that was really embarrassing or silly. When we were younger we would always say to her             "grandma please tell me another funny" . I have had many funnies in my life and so in honor of my grandma here is a little "funny"  that happened to me.

A few weeks ago in the midst of my puking extravaganza that I seemed to be on I woke up in the middle of the night and knew I was going to be sick. I ran into our bathroom and for some reason could not make it to the toilet so I decided the sink was the next best thing. In the midst of the constant puking I saw blood and freaked out. Realizing that not only was I having a hard time stopping the puking but I was having a bloody nose at the same time. In the midst of the craziness I  must have been gripping the pedestal sink so hard that I ripped it away from the wall causing the caulking to completely rip away. Here I am standing in the bathroom head over the sink puking with a bloody nose crying while gripping the wobbly sink. Poor Luke comes in the bathroom to try to help and I am trying to wave him away from the crime scene. Instead he held my hair, rubbed my back and helped me gain control and clean up. If that is not a good hubby I am not sure what is. Now I just need to get the sink fixed :)

Team Blue or Team Pink?

We are officially in the countdown to our gender reveal party on the 30th. I am getting so excited I can hardly stand it. One of the things we are doing is have everyone wear the color they think the baby is to the party. So to pass some time from now until  the 30th I thought it would be fun to have everyone vote.  Just respond Team Blue or Team Pink and I will keep the stats and update them over the next week and a half on the blog. Just in case you needed a picture to guess here is our last sonogram picture from our 12 weeks scan.

15 WEEKS(As of 3/15/13)

How far along:
15 Weeks - Baby is the size of

About this week:
I am starting to feel better in the nausea department. It seems that I will have a few good days to every bad one that I have. I feel like this week my belly has grown. It is to the point now where I have had a few people comment on seeing my baby bump. I also started looking at cribs I am pretty sure I know which one that I want but I have been scouring the internet making sure I don't change my mind. I am super excited to order it. It is crazy to think that we only have 25 more weeks left. I am sure it is going to go super super fast.

Symptoms:
Tiredness, Bad Cold that has lingered for two weeks, indigestion

Food Aversions:
I don't really have aversions to food but i do have a few that make me quite sick. I can not eat pizza, pasta with red sauce, chili or anything to spicy. I am super careful on hamburger and any type of beef. I have been sticking to mostly chicken and pork b/c I have not had any problems with those things lately.

Weight Gain:
Can you believe it I am still holding strong at 8LBS. If I can do this for just a little bit longer then I think I will be golden. I really need to start walking again because I am afraid that I have lost all muscle. Hurry up warm weather I really need you.

Best moment of the week:
I was able to wear a pair of non maternity jeans. I think that now that the bloating seems to have subsided a bit and the baby has moved up over my pelvis I can wear normal pants again  I will say maternity jeans are really comfortable but there was something about putting a pair of your old jeans on and being able to button them that did not make me feel as large as I have been feeling.

What I am looking forward to:
Our Gender reveal party on the 30th. I have been wavering a lot about what I think this baby is but at the end of the day I am still thinking girl.

A blurry not great picture. My goal is starting next week to start taking decent pics.
